The imperial fishing lodge, the foaming Langinkoski Rapids, the trails and the arboretum form an interesting cultural and natural complex, which attracts visitors to the area.

Langinkoski Nature Reserve has a special place in the Finnish network of protected areas, because of its unique cultural history. Langinkoski is located in the immediate vicinity of the town centre of Kotka.
