Location of Puurijärvi-Isosuo National Park in Finland
Western Finland, Satakunta and Pirkanmaa Regions
Municipalities of Kokemäki (www.kokemaki.fi, in Finnish), Huittinen (www.huittinen.fi), and Sastamala (www.sastamala.fi, in Finnish)
Area: 27 sq.km. Established in 1993.
The area is managed by Metsähallitus.

In Puurijärvi and Isosuo National Park, a unique natural landscape opens up in the midst of a historical and cultural landscape. Lake Puurijärvi and Isosuo Mire area is an ideal destination for day trips.

Puurijärvi and Isosuo National Park is located along Kokemäenjoki River, one of the longest rivers in Finland. The park includes large mire areas and shallow, lush Lake Puurijärvi, which is internationally important bird habitat. Also the mire areas of the National Park have a diverse set of bird species.

The National Park is a part of the Natura 2000 network with areas that belongs to the nature directive and important bird conservation areas.
