The National Park is situated in the outer archipelago, at the southern part of the Southwestern Archipelago.
Directions
The area can only be reached by boat or - in winter - across ice.
It is possible to canoe to the islands of the park, but you need to be experienced in sea canoeing.

- There are ferry services (www.ely-keskus.fi, in Finnish) to all the inhabited islands. Of these, there are National Park services on the Jurmo Island, Björkö Island and the Berghamn Island in the municipality of Pargas, and on the islands of Holma and Högsåra in the municipality of Kimitoön.
- There are buses going from Turku and Helsinki to the ferry departure points at Kasnäs (in Kimitoön), Prostvik and Pärnäs (in Pargas). Timetables can be found e.g. for bus companie Vainion liikenne (www.vainionliikenne.fi, in Finnish).
