Entrance
There is no entrance fee for exhibitions. The AV presentations shown are also free of charge.
Events
We arrange a variety of exhibitions and other interesting events throughout the year.
The Nature Centre is managed by Metsähallitus. Vuovjjuš - Wanderers exhibition is a result of the co-operation of Metsähallitus, Sámi Museum and Johtti Sápmelaččat rs.

Permanent Exhibitions
- In the main role of Vuovjjuš - Wanderers exhibition is reindeer, the link between Sámi people and nature.
Auditorium and AV Presentations

Nature Centre has an auditorium, which seats 66 people.
- Presentations are shown on request, and they are free of charge.

Groups should make reservations in advance.

The auditorium can be rented for conference use and lectures.
Children’s exhibition Lil’ Lemming
Lil´ Lemming is a children´s own exhibition, where the family´s little ones can learn to know the fell nature by designing and drawing postcards.
Campfire Shelter
There is a campfire shelter on Nature Centres grounds. If there is no prohibition on lighting campfires in affect, visitors may make a fire in the shelter at any time.
Nature Trails and Day Trips
Nature and day trip trails to Jyppyrä, Lake Pahtajärvi and Näkkälä begin on the Nature Centre grounds. On top of Jyppyränvaara hill there is a look-out-point and a campfire shelter. On the near-by Peurapolku Trail, there are displays on deer hunting traditions. By combining the various paths in the Jyppyrä area a suitable route can be found for everyone. The Visitor Centre provides maps.
Ski Trails
A ski trail which leads to the Jyppyrä area ski trail net, begins on the Nature Centre grounds. Trails leading to the Pallas - Yllästunturi National Park ski trails begin from a tourist lodge’s grounds near the Nature Centre. Cafe
The Cafe is open during the high season. The Cafe sells home-made pastries. They also sell local food supplies.
